I am a 47 year old disabled woman in Nashville, TN. I had a tooth break over the weekend and I weent to see a dentist. After xrays, they found 1 broken molar and 1 cracked molar. Both will need a crown. The broken molar needs a root canal, which has to be performed by an Endodontist, as the nerves are up in the sinus cavity of that tooth.  Each crown will cost me around $1200 and the root canal will also cost $1200.  That makes a total of $3600-$4000 on these teeth. I don't have anything close to that amount. I put $12oo on my CareCredit card, but don't have a limit that will take all of the work (I couldn't afford payment on it, even it if did).  I have tried every low cost clinic, dental college, Medicare, asked for favors from dentist, but no one can help me. Most can't get me in for 6 months, but I was told I don't have 6 months to wait.

 I am in desperate need for help to get my teeth fixed. If it weren't for the fact that it's my molars on my chewing side, I'd have them pulled, but I need them to chew food.  I don't know where to turn. Everyone has ideas, but I've exhausted them all, several times. 

At this point, I just need help. Is there no one who can help a low income individual when something like this happens?  Please, please help! I live alone, and have noone who can help.

Okay i am not looking for anything free.  Will to give in return.  I am in a band called Dangerously Beautiful and we are trying to get to Nashville so we can be signed to a record contract.  The problem is that we dont have the beginning investment for this endeavor.  Our band is selling CDs at 5 dollars a pop and with that you get an sign CD.  If you are able to give 10 dollars then we would send you an signed CD with an signed autograph.  We are not a band that does not know what is going on with this deal or just hopefull, we know this is going to happen.  Been in talks with Plateau Music LLC based in Nashville.  What it comes down to is that if we get the money we can get signed if we dont then we wont get signed.  Its that simple.  Just let me know if you can or can't.  Anything will help.  Thank you very much.

My husband and I are currently trying to file for a chapter 7. We both have cars but since we have not paid on them in 3 months, they are about to take them. We thought we would be finished with the filing by now and able to get another car. Reason we were as well filing our cars is because we were so upside down in them. I still owe 18,000.00 on mine alone and found out recently that my car has been in a wreck and had frame damage. Now my car only values at 6500.00. My husband still owes 20,000.00 on his truck and we can't get out of it because he bought it brand new (before we married) and now no one will buy it for more then 16,000.00 (IF we're lucky).

So now both of our cars are up for repo within the next couple of weeks and we can't get a car until our bankruptcy goes through. A) we need a car for him to get back and forth to work and B) we have a child so if I ever need to take him to a doctors appt etc.

Can anyone help us on getting a car. We don't care what it is, we just need one.

Hey!! My name is Destinee and I'm 21 years old. I have a wonderful husband and a 19 month old son. They are the light of my life!!

This ladies and gentlemen is my situation in a nutshell.  I'm currently in the process of enlistitng in the US military (specifically Army branch).  Right now i'm on medical DQ/waiver until i get a full oral extraction (removal of all teeth) and replacement (whether that be dentures or implants).  I have not had dental insurance or the finances to see a dentist in almost 7 years, and due to some complications around the age of 17 to 23, almost every root in my mouth is dead, and all of my teeth have suffered fragmentation and shattering.  I've been on medical waiver now for almost a year trying to save money for the work.  In that time, i've been told by a local dental charity (Interfaith dental clinic, Nashville, TN) that if i didn't get these issues resolved within a few months, i would either wind up in the ER, or dead.  That was roughly a year ago when i first started trying to get the work done.  Since that time, i've been to the ER once with an absess that swelled my right lower jaw to the size of a softball.  The attending physician there told me if i didn't get the teeth extracted within the next few months, i'd probably wind up dead within a year due to absessing and head infections.  That was roughly 8 months ago.  I work for Wal-Mart corporation.  Their dental insurance is (1) horrible, having a yearly maximum of 1,000$ and a lifetime maximum of 10,000$, and also has a year long waiting period for any pre-existing conditions.  It also doesn't kick in for a year as well, so to use their dental insurance, i'm looking at a 2 year wait period.  I've already been told by a dentist and a qualified physician that i won't survive that long.  Other than the dental, i'm in very good health (or else the army would have disqualified me outright rather than put me on waiver).  I'm searching for a dentist or oral/maxilliofacial surgery unit that would be capable and willing to do the work pro-bono, or for advertising/testimonial compensation (willing to allow pictures of before and after), or would be willing to do the work up front with a contractual payment plan (which would guarantee them payment, as i'll receieve sign on bonuses that will cover the costs when i join army). I'm at the point where i have to be very selective as to what i eat, and how fast i eat it, as virtually any hard or sharp edged foods fragment the teeth even worse, and also cut into the gum tissue.  If possible, i'd prefer implants (hoping for instant loads due to timeframe for military; such as sargon implants), but would be able to enlist with dentures and get the implants later.  I can get the extractions done by Interfaith for roughly 1600$ (and have almost all of that saved up. roughly 2 more paychecks and i'll have that), but the implant costs are simply not within my economic reach given that the Army only accepts new recruits up to the age of 32.

As i said, i don't believe in getting something for nothing (i prefer to earn/pay for everything i receive), but do not have the money up front to get these things done, and am on an accelerated and shortening timetable as to feasibility.  I would appreciate any help (for that matter, i'd even be willing to accept grants/loans to cover costs from organizations that provide that sort of aid as well), and am willing to pay back whatever financial assistance or services i receive.  Any prayer that could/would be offered by readers on my behalf would also be GREATLY appreciated.  Also, if anyone knows of a dentist or oral surgery unit who would be willing to help, please forward this information/webaddress to them, or leave me a message with their contact information. I am VERY serious about serving my country, and have a guarantee of Ranger training and assignment waiting on me as soon as this is resolved.Please, help this fellow citizen who only wants to serve and protect his country and fellow Americans.  God bless.

The choice to join military is a career choice, and i intend to serve as long as possible (my first enlistment will be for no less than 6 years, the maximum allowable single term enlistment)

I am 55 yrs old & divorced - I have been almost all of my life.  I raised two children on my own.  I have always been able to get by.  But, I foolishly fell for and married a silver-tongued devil whom I divorced in 2005 after 3 years of marriage.  This left me in an extreme financial crisis that I don't know how to get out of.  Plus, I have two ARM mortgages on a house financed 100% (not the best advice I've ever received).  I must refinance because the rates keep adjusting.  My family has had nothing to do with me since I got pregnant by my fiance at age 18.  I was disowned.  I suffer from chronic major depression, social anxiety disorder, etc.  I stay at home all the time b/c I have no money & feel that anyone who sees me will be thinking what a no good slut looser I am.  I am not.  I am a true Christian.  I need help financially.  I have been estranged from my family since 1970.  I am old & have maladys that get me down.  I go in this downward spiral and it can take weeks to turn my head around a little.  I am not a slacker.  I don't make much money....  I have had 3 breakdowns in the past 2 1/2 years.  Please help me.  I can't take these feelings of worthlessness & being no good.  I am good.  I just need help at this time in my life.   Holy Father in heaven, please hear my prayer. I pray that you will lay it upon the hearts of all who read this message  and help will be given to me.  You are my great and awesome Lord.  I know you can answer this prayer and I call upon you now, as you say in your word, to answer it.  In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.  God bless all of you who read this and those who don't.  We all need blessings in our lives.  With best regards and a sincere heart, Janjan

I am a 43 year old man that works full time and works side jobs just to pay the rent, electric bill, phone, and a little food each month. I am a single father of a 14 year old daughter. Im posting this out of pure desperation and praying the God will send someone to help me in my great time of need. My teeth hurt everyday, sometimes so bad that I cannot make it to work, putting my job in jeopardy. I need root canals, crowns, fillings, etc to fix my teeth. I do not want to get my teeth pulled, for I have lost way to many as it is. I recently had a check up and the dentist told me that if I dont get my teeth fixed soon, I will lose them, and some of them will start to abscess which could lead to infecttion and even blood clots that could go to my brain. I desperately need help with my teeth. If you decide to help me, you can verify all my dental records with my dentist. You and the dentist could work out the finacial details. I am a 37 year old female who used to manage a very popular restaurant.  When, in 2001 I came down with an illness/disease called Neurosarcodosis.  It is a potentionally fatal brain disease.  I have survived now for 5 years.  It was very rough in the beginning.  I am doing alot better though with the help and love of God, family, and friends.  Now back to one of the reasons I am here is when I got sick I got into finacial trouble and living on a very limited disability income I cannot afford to pay these off as they will not accept any payments of just a few dollars.  I also wanted to own a home someday of my own.  This way I would feel safe and secure in the fact that I had a roof over my head.  So, if anyone knows of any grants that may help me let me know.
